STV April Fools Challenges

The Moderators over at Stamp TV have been posting some April Fools Challenges. I decided to do them today while I play with MISTI.

The first challenge posted by Cat was to use 2 of the same shapes on your card. I used Ovals on mine. I used my MISTI to figure out spacing for my ovals, then stamped them twice to get a nice dark image. The same is true for the sentiment and butterfly. I then cut 2 masks for the ovals and used a dotted border stamp to make my background in Kraft.

The next challenge posted by Karen was a color challenge. Your card had to have Blue and orange. For this challenge I used Post It notes to mask off the top and bottom then sponged on stripes of Powder Blue and Sweet Mango. The image of the chairs and sentiments are from By the Sea 2 andwere stamped in Black Onyx.

The third Challenge was posted by Lee and was a sketch challenge. I flipped the sketch upside down to have the circle at the top. I layered the white, kraft and then white banner together then die cut the circle out. I layered this piece on top of a white cardstock base, without glue. The placed them in MISTI, put the stamp over the card where I wanted it, picked it up with the lid of MISTI, removed my top layers and stamped  the grapes from Better with Age on the card base. I then colored my image and put the top on using foam tape for dimension. The sentiment was lined up and stamped in kraft ink. I am submitting this card for the Mod Squad Tic Tac Toe Challenge. This card used the right verticle line including piercing, coloring, and using rhinestones or pearls, I am sure enamel dots count too.

The fourth Challenge posted by Sean is a 1.. 2.. 3.. Challenge in which the card has to be 1 layer, use 2 ink colors and three different stamp sets. My layer is white, the 2 ink colors are Black Onyx and Ocean Mist. To do this card I mapped it out with my MISTI, using a blank piece of paper. I stamped the oval first, masked off the outside, then stamped the silhouette about four times to get a nice dark evenly colored image. Next, I stamped the sentiment, masked the oval and using a dotted stamp from Lots of Dots I stamped it moving it to make the background.

There you have it 4 challenge cards made in one afternoon!!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Love your challenge cards Susan. The grape stamp is one of my very favorite and I love what you did with it. I would like to case it if you don't mind.
