Hey there!! There is a new challenge over at CAS-ual Friday's Blog. This one is called Winter Blues. and you can play too! Just go to https://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.ca/2017/12/cfc188-winter-blues.html
There are also prizes to be won!!
Here's my card for this Challenge!!
For this card I used two stamp sets from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, Joy and Snowy Sayings.
When I cannot sleep I play. I decided to play messy this time. I took a piece of white cardstock and embossed the trees with Wow bright white embossing powder. Next, I added many layers of distress and distress oxide inks in multiple layers to my paper until I was satisfied with the result. Then I took out my Gansai Tambi watercolors and and added splatters first with water, then with black, white, gold, silver and white shimmery paints. Before this step make sure you wipe of the excess ink from the embossing. I set this aside to dry and stamped the deer and bunny and die cut them. Once the ink and paints were dry I added the sentiment which I stamped using my MISTI and Versafine onyx black ink. Next, I added the deer and bunny, who were just floating on the background so I cut a piece of cardstock to make a patch of snow for the deer to stand on and left the bunny sitting on the sentiment. I thought I was done when I saw sitting on my desk this already stamped and die cut foliage and decided to give my deer a cute pair of foliage antlers. lol All stamps are from the Winter Woodland stamp set by Catherine Pooler Designs.
Good morning and welcome to the Calling All Sistahs monthly reminder post. This is your reminder to do your monthly self breast examination and to book your mammogram if you are due. This month I used some techniques I recently saw on You Tube to make my card.
I hope you like this reminder card I made for you. If you have not already stopped by the Calling All Sistahs blog please come on over and see what the rest of the team have made. Come back tomorrow for the Encouragement Challenge!! Thanks for coming by Susan
As may of you may already know I love Catherine Pooler's Inks!! They ink up stamps do well with just a few light taps of the stamp to the ink, the colors all go together from each collection so no weird colors that don't go together. and the ink once wiped of does not transfer ink from one color to the next!! The first collection was named the Party Collection and is composed of highly saturated bright and fun colors!! I have used mine so much I just ordered the entire set of reinkers!! I also can use these reinkers to watercolor with my water brush and for techniques that require more ink instead of using my ink pad!
The Party Collection
There is also two colors in the Neutrals Collection.
Now Catherine had begun releasing a new collection of colors called the Spa Collection!!
These inks are a less saturated color which allows them to have more muted color.
Catherine has revealed the first 6 colors and they are Gorgeous!!
The next two colors will be revealed Monday on Facebook and they will go up for sale with a few new product in the Catherine Pooler Shop on Tuesday November 14. Thanks for stopping by to see today's post and see you soon!! Susan

Hi! It is October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The CAS-ual Fridays Blog has been turned pink this month and there have been so many projects shown to help spread awareness.
Today is the 17th and it is time for your monthly reminder to do your self-breast examination and also to schedule your yearly mammogram if you are due for it.
This month has flown by so quickly and my brain has been on overdrive, so I went back to basics for this month's reminder card. I used some of my rarely used patterned paper from my stash. I chose papers with the same pattern but different colors for my card. I cut the Ruffled Ribbon out of the darker of the two papers and layered 4 layers of white cardstock and one of patterned paper to make the ribbon dimensional. The lighter of the papers I used as a base layer on a black A2 top fold card. I kept the card clean and simple by matching the patterns and using a single black on white sentiment on a base of black and a few sequins from the Sistahood Sparkle sequin mix.

Welcome back I am a bit behind but here we have my day 4 of the Online Card Class Rainbowmaker homework for day 4. Today we learned about Rainbow Watercoloring. For my card I made a watercolor background using Ken Oliver's Liquid Metals. Once that was dry I added the Abstract stencil from MFT over my background and applied Faber Castell's Glass Bead Glitter Gel on tip using a palette knife. Once dry I cut it down into a card panel and added my die cut Congrats sentiment on to a vellum doily cut with the Spiro Doily Die from CP Designs.
Hello today is Day 5 of the OCC Rainbowmaker class and I am close to getting finished with my homework. Today is all about Rainbow Stenciling Mediums!! For my homework I chose to use embossing paste colored with Ken Oliver's Liquid Metals. Using my Dreamweaver embossing paste I colored up small bits of embossing paste with each color one at a time and spread them over the Circular Lace stencil from Simon Says Stamp. I have to say I am in love with soft colors I got with this technique.
For the sentiment, I layered 3 of the "best" sentiment from CP Designs over a cut out circle "wishes" from the Spot On stamp set from CP Designs. I added s few sparkling clear confetti pieces from PPP, some Spectrum Noir Glitter pen ti the sentiment.
This class was all about die cutting our colorful rainbows. My card was made by gluing rainbow colored paper strips to form a large piece of rainbow paper and then die cutting it. I chose to use the Perfect Vine die from CP Designs and used it on this card.
Thanks for stopping by and I| hope you return tomorrow.
Today we learned about Rainbow stamping. There were three videos today WOW!! For my card I chose another cute ballerina image fro the Tutu stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays and inked it up several times using my MISTI and using the same Rainbow of inks from Catherine Pooler Designs stamped out across my card panel. I love it!!
That's all for today but the Class is not over yet, so please come back again for the next class creation.
I am a day late posting my creation for the Online Card Class - Rainbow Maker. Day 1 was all about ink blending. For my card I ink blending my rainbow colors around the outside of my panel and over the Swoop stencil by CP Designs using Party Dress, Orange Twist, Tiara, Grass Skirt, Fiesta Blue and Flirty Fuchsia inks from CP Designs . The focal image is from the new Tutu stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays
