Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop

Welcome to the Calling all Sistahs Blog hop!!

It's the 17th of the month, and you know what that means. It is time for your reminder to do your monthly self-exams and schedule your yearly mammograms.

Michelle from CAS-ual Friday's designed a line of stamps and dies especially for this cause when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. You can read her story here.

I have made two cards for this hop used the Calling All Sistahs stamp set and Ribbon of Hope stamp set.

My first card was stamped and embossed with Rose Gold embossing powder on Neenah Solar White cardstock. I decided to add a frame and it was embossed three times to make it look metallic.

My second card was embossed with white embossing powder, colored with distress inks. I added some water drops to the ink and then used a paper towel to remove the water after about 10 seconds. I love the distressed look. The fishtail flags were also inked up and embossed with black and white embossing powder.

Thank you for hopping today and remember this month there will be a $15 Gift Certificate given to 3 people that comment along the hop. You have until May 19th @ midnight EST to comment.

Casual Fridays Stamps -->this is where the blog hop begins
Susan White  --> you are here
Shonda Chambers   -->go here next.

Have fun hopping!!

These are both beautiful, but I especially love the coral ombre background. The white ribbon really pops against that.
