I am having lots of fun and learning new things and getting a memory boost on some others. I just received my MFT order that I ordered just after midnight Monday morning and received today!! That's right 3 days!! I used the Tropical sensations stamp set and Dienamics for my cards, and also the sentiment strips 2 Dienamics. I have to say I am in love with the Tropical Sensations!!
I have finished my first week of stamp camp, I am a little behind, but have time to catch up before next week. I chose to do the embossed vellum technique on my first card and followed the second sketch provided. Here is what I made.
For the second card I used the water color technique using Gelatos. For my third card I made a Banner card, and cut the greeting with my Silhouette Portrait.
Hi, Just popping in to tell you about a little something I just found out about. Summer Card Camp. A few fellow stampers from Stamp TV were taking this class and making cute cards, I decided to join the fun. If you would like a little fun, inspiration and enjoy color and sketch challenges, you are sure to love this. Pop on over and Take a peek @ http://onlinecardclasses.com/summercardcamp2/ I will be back later to post some of my class creations.
Today I made a set of 4 Sympathy cards. I used the stamp set Framed Flowers from Gina K. Designs. I used honey mustard organdy ribbon (gkd), ocean mist ink (gkd) barely banana and sage shadow cardstock (SU). The printed papers I picked up at The Cutting Garden and are from Crate Papers.
I have been trying something new lately, Mixed Media Art. It has been at learning curve for sure, learning by trail and error and you tube. I finally got two of Prima's Mixed Media Dolls Stamps, the little girls. Here is my first two projects in the making, I think I have to ad a few more elements to them then I am going to wrap them up for my niece's for Christmas.
Happy Canada Day!! This card was made using this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch. This week is there 300th challenge and they have some fabulous prizes available. Here is what I made.
