Night Flowers

The challenge over at StampNation this week is Colorful Night Sky. The night sky/galaxy trend is holding strong and this week over at StampNation our challenge is to make a colorful night sky.  I love making these and I was also coloring some flowers and combined the two of them into a card I have named Night Flowers.

This card came together by accident as I decided to color some flowers with not so ordinary colors, but I really like the effect.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day!!

Encouragement Challenge #2

Hello everyone!!  Welcome to the second Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Challenge.
This month's inspiration board was so fun to work with, with all those beautiful colors!!

For my card based on inspiration from this photo was to get out my Gansai Tambai water color paints and  painted stripes of paint. Next. I took plain old plastic Cling Wrap from the kitchen and place it on the wet paint crinkling it as i went. I let it sit that way for a while, them removed the wrap once it was fairly dry. This leaves you with an amazing abstract background.

Next I cut down my panel with a stitched rectangle die and then I used three other stitched circle dies and cut out holes in my panel and and the same size circles from white cardstock. I popped up the front Layer and inset the cut out pieces of the background in the openings. I stamped the sentiment from The stamp set BE by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and popped them up on two layers of foam tape, so they set raised up from the front panel.  As my final addition I added a few glitter enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed this card , the inspiration board and will created a card to enter into the
Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Challenge. And, remember Michelle is offering up a gift certificate to the CAS-ual Fridays Shop to the winner.
Please hop on over to the Calling All Sistahs Bog and see all the fabulous card the team has made!

Have and amazing Day and see you soon!!

June 2017 Calling All Sistahs Reminder

Hi and welcome to this months Calling All Sistahs monthly reminder to do your self-breast examination and to book your mammogram is due.

This month I used the Be stamp set from the Calling All Sistahs  stamp line by CAS-ual Friday Stamps.

I stamped the sentiments on a piece of watercolor paper I had water-colored with It's a Girl ink from Catherine Pooler Designs with white pigment ink and used WOW clear embossing powder to make my top panel. The bottom layer is inked using the same ink using the Tin Roof stamp set by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps on a white top fold card base. I cut the to player using Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics from My Favorite Things.  For my sentiment I used the "kick cancer's butt" sentiment from the Calling All Sistahs stamp set and stamped it on to a sentiment strip made with the Stitched Fishtail Flag Stax Die-namics from MFT using Versafine Black Onyx Ink. Once my card was assembled I added Three vellum die cut butterflies.

I hope you enjoyed this month's reminder card and please visit the Calling All Sistahs Blog to see more of this months reminder cards.
