Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop

Today is the 17th of the month and time for the Calling All Sistahs blog hop.  This hop happens every month as serves as a reminder to do your monthly self breast examinations.

Michelle Saugstad Gross, the owner of CAS-ual Fridays, found a lump back in 2015 during her monthly exam. You can read more of her story here. She created a line of stamps called the Calling All Sistahs Collection and she donates 50% of the profit from these stamps and dies to breast cancer research and awareness programs.

A new product will be added to the collection this month, it is a beautiful sequin mix made by Pretty Pink Posh.  Each Blogger will be using these sequins on their cards this month.

New Inks from Catherine Pooler

In the fall Catherine Pooler Designs released their foundations box. In this box were 5 ink pads that Catherine had specially formulated and they give excellent coverage on all types of stamps and the colors to not transfer color to the others once the stamp is cleaned. These ink pads are foam not linen and so only a little tap, tap, tap on the ink pad is needed to ink up your stamp.  On Tuesday January 10th Catherine will release the rest of the ink colors to the Party Collection. I am a bit excited and maybe a tad OCD so I have made room and labels for the rest of the collection.

I took this picture before the announcement of Something Borrowed. All of the inks have fun Party themed names. There is one more color to be released tomorrow.  P.S. check out Catherine's facebook page for all the color reveals and to take a guess at the latest hint for the color reveal.
