Box Cards

Good evening, I am so pleased that warmer weather has finally reached the Canadian East Coast!!
I have been busy crafting up a storm, and love the new Boxed Card Kit from SVG Cuts.  Mary is so creative and I love this kit of box cards.

First up is this adorable Strawberry Basket Box Card,

next,  I had so much fun making this Tea time Box card.

This is the Floral Box Card, 

 and who would not love this Hot Air Balloon Box Card?

Finally,  I have this simply adorable Castle Box Card

Tiny Miracle

Tiny Miracle is the name of the new SVG Cuts Kit. This kit is adorable!!! I have been creating with it for the past 2 weeks. Here is what I made.
First Up are these Diaper Cakes, a Princess Castle for a girl and Vintage Sports for a boy.

 These Baby Bottle Boxes are adorable, and so easy to put together.

I just love Box cards and these Crib Box Cards are just too cute!!

This large Flower Card is very pretty.

Products used to make these items include Pure Luxury Cardstock from Gina K. Designs, Patterned paper from Graphic 45 and Gina K. Designs and stamps from My Favorite Things.

Easter

...is just around the corner and SVG Cuts, just came out with their all new, Bunny Hop SVG Kit.  I just love this kit and got right to work making all the beautiful cards, boxes and the super cute bunny container.

 Here is a picture of the set I created.

 First I made Mr. Bunny

 and then decided he needed a Mrs. Bunny.

 Then I made the Butterfly Box

and the Egg Box

It has a pop up umbrella on the inside

I made all of these using this paper pad I got at my local Micheal's Arts and Crafts store.

Lighthouse, Valentine House and a few Cards

StampTV Guest DT Opportunity

Recently Gina has decided to have a guest DT call over on StampTV. There are four challenges to complete to be considered for this amazing position.
The first challenge was a technique challenge. The chosen technique was color on color emboss resist. This is the card I made for this Challenge.

The second challenge was to make a shaped card. This is the card I made for this challenge.

The third challenge was to make a a set of 2 or more tags. I made this set of CAS tags for this challenge.

The forth and final challenge is to make a card following a sketch from a provided card. This is the card I made.

Now the waiting begins to see if I am chosen.  The competition is an amazing  and talented group and they have produced some beautiful challenge cards.

Happy 2014

Hi, I hope everyone had a great and Merry Christmas and are having a wonderful New Year!!
I have not been blogging much since October due to many personal and health issues.  I want to share with you a few creations I have made.  I love making cards, but also love making 3D items and these are a few of the most recent ones.

 I made this Gingerbread House in mid December once my move was complete, and I used the Happy Holidays SVG Kit from www.svgcuts.com, My Silhouette Portrait was used to cut the files, all I had to do is resize the files to 70%.  The roof comes off and it can be used as a box or add a battery powered tealight and it glows beautifully.

 Santa pants are also part of the Happy Holiday kit and are just so darn cute. I used then as a candy holder for Christmas.

I made this cute Spring Gazebo yesterday. We had a blizzard here so I made something to take my mind of it. This was made using the Winter Gazebo SVG Kit from svgcuts.com.  I used some of the extra files to make this a non-winter gazebo. It's lid also comes off and it can be used as a box, add a battery powered light to make it glow, or using the additional cut files to make a box for it to sit on.
